The whole thing made me sick to my stomach. And Queen Latifah and Madonna can go celebrate in HadesRead More with the rest of them.

I guess if it starts late they're allowed to play past the 11pm and too bad for those that liveRead More close by? This Amphitheater is out of control and will only get progressively worse. Time for the community to get it shut down. It's been done in other towns and will be here as well.

When deciding who should be the spokesperson for this organization, as well as for their nationalRead More service platform, The Children's Miracle Network, personality, charisma, and the "it" factor take precedence over talent. As malepianoplayer said, this is not a piano competition.
Yancy Box January 14, 2013 at 08:22 pm
All of these contestants know the talent portion of the competition rates higher (35%) than any ofRead More the other portions. Ali is not more talented than Miss NY or she would have won. Paige, you are correct in everything you say. However, the Miss America pageant does not agree. Miss America think talent should be the "it" factor and being Ali's talent was sub par she did not win.

We all remember when you won Miss America, Yancy Box, but don't put someone down that finishedRead More second. Talk about needing to get a life. You weren't bullied, you are the bully.

You are right about how these Christmas programs are really one of the most enjoyable parts of theRead More season because they bring the family together. Enjoying the company of our loved ones is really what Christmas is all about, and nothing brings that home for me more that A Charlie Brown Christmas. I was so upset this morning after talking to a coworker at DISH who told me that A Charlie Brown Christmas was on last night. Thankfully, my DISH Hopper recorded it with PrimeTime Anytime, and I was able to catch it. I love how it records everything on during primetime on the four major networks and saves it for a week, so I don’t have to memorize the Christmas Schedule. The times certainly have changed, but that Christmas magic of togetherness is as strong as ever!

Rick Bragg is the best! I have this book, and read and re-read it. This book is real and filledRead More with Rick and his Mom's story. What a lady! What a son!
