Fundraiser Seeks to Develop Area Skate Park
Discover Church of Simpsonville and Applebee's team up for a "Flapjack Fundraiser" this weekend.
The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is partnering with the 3-6-5 Kids program at Discover Church to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, September 15. All proceeds raised will go towards the development of a skate park in Simpsonville.
“3-6-5 Kids is a program at Discover Church for 7th through 12th graders who have been working hard to open up a skate park for kids to hang out at afterschool,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “Please help support these children by joining us for a Flapjack Fundraiser on September 15th.”
The Discover Church fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 3944 Grandview Dr., Simpsonville, starting at 7:30 a.m.
Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Telisa Pennington at (864) 551-5485.
Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
