UPDATE: Greenville Deputies Involved in Standoff at Simpsonville Home

The standoff ended around 10:50 p.m. at a home on Johnson Drive near East Georgia Road.

Greenville Sheriff's deputies said a standoff at a Simpsonville home ended peacefully around 10:50 p.m.

Deputies said they received a disturbance call from 109 Johnson Drive in Simpsonville. The caller told deputies that a family member was inside the home alone, and threatening to harm him self.

The SWAT Team was called in to take the man into custody. No one was hurt and no charges have been filed.

The man involved was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.

Greenville County Sheriff's deputies have been involved in a standoff at a Simpsonville home.

According to Fox Carolina, the incident began about 6 p.m. at a home on Johnson Drive near East Georgia Road.

Deputies were working to get the man, reportedly a veteran, out of the home.
