Sharon Elizabeth Howard, 63, of 525 Scuffletown Rd., passed away on September 3, 2013. She was the widow of Samuel Tex Howard and the daughter of the late Harold Thomas and Madeline Owens Knight.
She worked for the Greenville Drug and Alcohol Abuse Center before her illness and was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Melissa "Missy" Hyatt-Thames and husband Dameion; 4 grandchildren Chase A. Hyatt, Chandler A. Hyatt, Cameron L. Thames and Sydni C. Thames; brother Jerry Thomas Knight.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Clear Spring Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm at the church and burial will be in the Clear Spring Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, 523 Scuffletown Rd., Simpsonville.
