Simpsonville Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash

The wreck happened around 11:21 p.m. on Woodruff Road.

One man is dead after a single-vehicle collision in Greenville County on New Year's Eve.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the 19-year-old driver was killed around 11:21 p.m. on S.C. 146, Woodruff Road. Troopers said the man, who was driving a 2001 Nissan, was headed west on S.C. 146 when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt, Troopers said.
